Best Amenities To Make Your Airbnb Stand Out
1. Airbnb Themes
The number one way these days to make your Airbnb stand out is to have a theme! Themed properties are killing it everywhere giving guests that unique experience. To come up with a really great theme idea, look at all the attractions for your location and brainstorm from there.

2. Unique Airbnb design

3. Washer and dryer
Low key, this is a huge luxury that will matter to a lot of people. I have an Airbnb that does not have laundry and it’s such a miss on my part, never again! This is an amenity that might not make you a higher ADR but it will get your place booked over another listing quicker.
4. White linens
White bed linens and bath towels are a huge must! Not only does it help the host see if things are stained but it gives the guest the assurance of a clean bed or towels when everything is pure white and visible. Nothing screams dirty like dark sheets.
Most hotels have white linens and as an Airbnb host you need to take your cue from them and implement the same!
5. Large bath towels
This is another low key luxury that will make the difference for your guests. Some brands of towels call these bath sheets and are a size up from bath towels. This will help your property feel size inclusive and have that extra luxurious factor with having a bigger towel.
6. Black makeup towels
I feel like this is more of a luxury for me as a host and saves my white washcloths from being totally destroyed, Guests will feel so much better having a darker towel that they don’t have to worry about ruining during their stay.
7. Cooking essentials
For cooking essentials, you need to have a fully stocked kitchen but having little things like coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper are going to go a long way with your guests. These items are hard to find in a travel size at a local grocery store and bulkier to purchase altogether.

8. Fast Wifi
If you can and if you’re area allows it, get a super fast wifi set up. Especially if your guests are working from home, having fast download and upload speeds are crucial. There’s nothing worse as a host to get complaints on wifi so do yourself a favor and get the best speed right away!
9. Cozy blankets
This is a low key luxury that will be a subtle touch but so necessary. Guests will love having the ability to cozy up on the couch under a comfortably blanket and watch a movie at night!
10. Access to streaming services
Unless you’re catering to the older generation, no one has or cares about cable anymore. Streaming services are where it’s at! Having a Smart TV where guests can log into their own streaming services is a basic necessity. If you provide logins to these services on top of just providing access to the services, this would really set you apart from other listings.
11. Board games and puzzles
This is such a fun way to add easy entertainment to any listing. Cards, family friendly games and a few puzzles is perfect!
12. Good books
Think like great coffee table books that are local to the area where guests could educate themselves on the area or plan a day trip during their stay. Another good book book to have would be a guest book for your guests to sign and talk about all their adventures during their stay.
13. Kids toys
You will thank yourself as a host because if you are kid friendly, have no toys, the kids will find other things to play with that you probably don’t want them to play with.
14. High chair
This is a must if you are family friendly! Most kids 6 months to 2.5 years old need a high chair to eat and you will be branded as uber family friendly if you provide this amenity.
15. Kids dinnerware
Any plastic kids dinnerware will work and be so appreciated by nervous parents who don’t want their kids to break your glass dishes.

16. Safety gate for pets and kids
If you have stairs or any area that guests would appreciate having a pet or child corralled away, provide a safety gate.
17. Lawn games
Especially for listings that boast a great outdoor space, providing lawn games is a great way for easy entertainment. It gets guests out of the house and enjoying the outdoor space you so
18. Essentials for the attractions close to your location
Are you close to the coast? Provide beach towels! Are you by a national park? Provide hiking poles and hiking essentials. You get the idea, if you have an attraction that guests will visit during their stay, cater to the needs of your guest.
19. Refillable water bottles
For areas where there’s a lot of outdoor activities and hiking, providing refillable water bottles will be so nice for guests to be able to take with them on the go!

21. Recommendations for food & activities
This is a great way to get your guests out on the town and really experience the location. You can put all this information in the Airbnb guidebook or in your welcome book in your listing!
22. Plenty of Airbnb essentials
I’m talking toilet paper, paper towels, towels. Things in the kitchen like olive oil, salt & pepper, coffee and sugar. Guests need things like soaps and showering gels as well! Do not let them run out and provide enough for all the people in their party during their stay.
23. EV car charging
With the rise of EV cars, providing charging would be a huge amenity. Most hosts will not do this due to the cost but if you have solar and can provide it for a low cost, that would go a long way with guests.
